Originally introduced in 1962, the Dove has become instantly recognisable and beloved by musicians worldwide, from Tom Petty to Elvis Presley. This faithful recreation captures the essence of the early 1960s model, expertly aged by the artisans at the Murphy Lab to evoke the look, feel, and tonal character of a well-loved vintage instrument.

Featuring a thermally aged Sitka spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing, the 1963 Dove delivers the rich, resonant tone of a seasoned vintage guitar. The beautifully flamed maple back and sides finished in Cherry add visual elegance and contribute to the guitar’s bright, full-bodied sound. A mahogany neck with a comfortable round profile and an Indian rosewood fretboard adorned with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays completes the classic vintage aesthetic.
