To unlock the full potential of Pulze speakers and make control as easy as operating an effects pedal, the Pulze Control wireless smart MIDI controller was created.

Unlike previous MIDI controllers from Hotone, Pulze Control supports both host and client modes, allowing direct wireless connections to devices such as Pulze and Ampero II Stage — making it incredibly convenient for musicians.

A compact yet powerful MIDI command centre

Pulze Control supports four types of MIDI messages: PC (Program Change), CC (Control Change), Note On and Note Off. MIDI messages can be transmitted via a 1/4” (6.35mm) TRS jack, USB port or wirelessly. Each footswitch can be assigned up to 16 different MIDI messages (or up to 32 when using A/B groups), with various triggering options available to suit different usage scenarios.

Choose your mode via the mobile app

Pulze Control is compatible with a dedicated mobile app for Android & iOS, offering a variety of user-friendly modes:

  • Simple Modes: Pre-configured settings for Pulze, Ampero and other supported devices — just select the mode you need and start using it instantly.
  • Pro Mode: Customise every detail, including footswitch functions, trigger methods, MIDI messages, CTRL/MIDI jack settings and more.

Built-in battery with long-lasting performance

Pulze Control features a built-in lithium battery that’s rechargeable via USB, providing up to 12 hours of continuous use on a full charge.

Versatile CTRL/MIDI jack

The CTRL/MIDI jack can connect to an expression pedal, a momentary footswitch or function as a TRS MIDI output. Simply connect your external device and adjust the settings to expand your control options, enabling connections with an expression pedal or two additional MIDI footswitches.

Firmware that keeps getting better!

Pulze Control supports firmware updates, allowing you to upgrade wirelessly via the mobile app whenever a new version is released. Enjoy continuous improvements and new features with each update.

More info about this Product

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Control

Controller

A controller is a device used to send control information to other equipment without generating sound on its own. It allows parameters such as notes, effects, presets, or levels to be adjusted remotely, often using footswitches, knobs, sliders, or keys.

Controllers are widely used in modern music setups to manage pedals, processors, synthesizers, and software. They enable complex systems to be operated easily and consistently, especially in live performance and studio environments where hands-free or centralised control is needed.

Footswitch

A footswitch is a hands-free control used to activate, bypass, or change functions on amplifiers, pedals, and other music equipment. It allows players to switch channels, engage effects, or trigger features while continuing to play.

Footswitches are essential for live performance, providing quick and reliable control underfoot. They can range from simple single-button switches to multi-button controllers that manage complex setups and presets.

MIDI

MIDI is a digital communication standard that allows electronic instruments, controllers, and audio equipment to send and receive performance data rather than audio signals. This data includes information such as note on and off messages, pitch, velocity, control changes, and timing, enabling different devices to work together in sync.

In music gear, MIDI is used to control synthesizers, drum machines, effects units, and software from keyboards, pedals, or computers. It allows complex setups to be automated and coordinated, making it essential for studio production, live performance, and modern electronic and hybrid music rigs.
