The Ibanez ALT50FA Altstar is an electro acoustic built specifically with electric players in mind. With its slim, electric-style neck, compact Altstar body and tighter string spacing, it feels instantly familiar under the fingers while still delivering a full acoustic voice.

Featuring a Comfort Grip Maple neck with a 15.75 inch radius Purpleheart fingerboard, 25.5 inch scale and 22 large frets, the ALT50FA invites fast runs, big bends and modern chord voicings. The compact dreadnought-style body with a flamed Maple Art Grain top and Sapele back and sides offers a focused, bright tone that still has plenty of warmth in the mids, making it ideal for strumming, riffing and melodic picking alike.

Electric-style feel, acoustic inspiration

The Altstar concept is all about making the move from electric to acoustic feel effortless. The Comfort Grip Maple neck, 25.5 inch scale and 15.75 inch radius will feel very natural if you’re used to modern electric guitars, while the slightly tighter 10.5 mm string spacing keeps chords and riffs feeling precise.
