Ibanez' Artwood series offers creative and intuitive acoustic design in an affordable package. The AW84CE is a uniquely-styled dreadnought shape capable of booming warm tones. It's also loaded with a pickup and preamp, allowing you to plaug into a speaker and shape your sound as you please.

Construction

An all mahogany affair, the AW84CE, produces a deep resonance ideal for big strummed or picked chords. The open pore Ibanez are well known for their electric guitar playability and that translates here with the comfortable neck and smooth ovangkol fretboard.

The bridge pins have been specifically designed to keep its strings solidly in place for exceptional tuning stability. Add in the bone nut and compensated saddle and you have a guitar to suit you for years into the future.

Fishman Preamp

A pickup and preamp allows your guitar to to be plugged into a PA system to project your acoustic sound even further. It just so happens that the AW84CE comes equipped with a preamp made by the biggest name in the business: Fishman. The Fishman Sonicore captures the pure essence of your natural acoustic tone, while the Ibanez-designed preamp lets you tinker with a two-band EQ and onboard tuner.

They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.

Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Electro-Acoustic

They are commonly used for live performance and recording, especially in situations where consistent volume and clarity are needed. Electro-acoustic guitars often include controls for volume and tone, and sometimes built-in tuners, making them a practical choice for gigging musicians who want an acoustic sound with modern flexibility.
