The Bass Workshop Series EHB1005MS proves that Ibanez aren’t afraid of innovation, with the key concept being playing comfort. For starters, this 5-string electric bass has a chambered, basswood body to keep the weight down, and thanks to deep contouring and an ergonomic body shape, each of the twenty-four medium stainless steel frets along the birds-eye maple neck offers a deluxe comfort and supreme playability, whether seated or standing. Whatever your goal, the Ibanez EHB1005MS is a trusty gigging and recording companion. This is the left-handed edition

The Ibanez Bass Workshop EHB1005MSL: A Highly Versatile Multi-Scale Bass

Since this is a multi-scale model, the scale length graduates from 33 inches at the lower-gauge strings up to 35 inches at the higher-gauge strings. This gives the low B string a tighter feel so you can more easily play complex rhythm parts. Next to fanned frets, another striking detail is the flat radius of close to 20 inches, comfortably accommodating complex playing techniques like tapping. To finish, two Bartolini BH2 pickups are joined by the active Vari-Mid 3-band EQ system and serve up a wide array of modern bass sounds.

Bass Guitars

Electric bass guitars provide the low-end foundation that supports rhythm, harmony, and groove within a band. Designed for clarity, punch, and control, they translate string vibration into a focused, amplified signal that locks in with drums and drives the music forward. Different scale lengths, pickup configurations, and electronics influence feel and tone, from deep, rounded lows to tight, articulate attack. Whether used for simple supportive lines or more expressive playing, electric bass guitars are essential for shaping the feel and energy of a track.

Bass Guitars

Bass guitars form the backbone of a band’s sound, sitting between rhythm and harmony to give music depth, weight, and movement. Available in electric and acoustic forms, they focus on delivering strong, controlled low frequencies while remaining clear and responsive to playing dynamics. Factors like scale length, string type, and pickup design all influence tone and feel, allowing bass guitars to suit a wide range of styles and techniques. Whether laying down solid grooves or exploring more melodic lines, a good bass guitar anchors the music and brings everything together.

Left-Handed Guitar

Left-handed guitars are built specifically for left-handed players, with the body shape, controls, and string orientation reversed to provide a natural and comfortable playing experience. Available across electric, acoustic, classical, and bass styles, they offer the same variety of tones, features, and build quality as right-handed models. Using a properly designed left-handed guitar helps with balance, technique, and confidence, allowing players to focus on developing their sound without having to adapt to an instrument that doesn’t suit the way they play.
