The Jackson Audio Twin Trem packs not one, but two distinct tremolo circuits inside its stylish enclosure. On the right (red), you’ve got a lush Harmonic Trem, and on the left (blue), a classic Optical Trem. Each side comes with its own Speed, Depth and Volume controls, so you can dial in everything from subtle shimmers to full-on wobbly madness.

Want to keep things simple? Use either side as a standalone effect. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, combine them (magenta) for rich, percussive textures that’ll make your tone pop like never before.

Visual feedback? Sorted!

Both sides feature LED indicators that pulse in time with the trem speed — perfect for syncing up your grooves without breaking a sweat.

Flexible signal routing

The Twin Trem isn’t just versatile — it’s a routing playground. With four top-mounted jacks, you can run it like a standard pedal, or get creative: hit the Harmonic side first, throw in a splash of reverb, then finish with the Optical trem for that classic amp-style vibe. The possibilities are endless for building your dream signal chain.

Go stereo…

If you have a stereo setup, the right side can get the Harmonic trem, while the left gets the Optical. It’ll sound wide, immersive and downright addictive.

Premier Guitar review

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Dual — Dual describes gear designed with two of the same or complementary features working together, such as dual channels, dual pickups, or dual effects. This allows greater flexibility and tonal range, letting players switch or blend between sounds for different styles, settings, or playing dynamics without changing their setup.. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own.. Tremolo — Tremolo is an effect that creates a rhythmic pulsing by varying the volume of the guitar signal up and down. It can be subtle and smooth or choppy and pronounced, adding movement and texture to clean tones and is commonly associated with classic amps and vintage-style sounds.. Twin.
