Jam Pedals’ Waterfall chorus and Ripple phaser make a great partnership, so why not stick them into the same pedal?

That’s exactly what they’ve done, and it’s turned out better than anyone could have hoped the Ripply Fall. The Waterfall provides all the glistening warbles and splashy movement to spruce up your flat guitar tone, while the Ripple weaves in and out of the sound like a piranha slips through water.

Plug the Ripply Fall in and you’re straight off the mark with two gliding effects that works extremely well with other layered textures.

Dig into classic Leslie speaker effects, contemporary ‘wet’ blend chorus and whacky waves of sound with the use of two independent speed dials, a depth control and two selector switches. Refreshing.

Here’s what Jam Pedals say about the Ripply Fall

After years of recommending the WaterFall and the Ripple as a great combination, we set out to offer these two pedals, housed side-by-side in a single enclosure, with the introduction of the following unique features:

The middle footswitch triples the at-any-given-point WaterFall Speed, generating sounds ranging all the way from Leslie speaker simulation, to ring modulator effects and up to deranged warble!

Expression pedal inputs for sculpting the WaterFall’s Depth and Speed in real-time.

WaterFall

A smooth, lush-sounding Chorus / Vibrato pedal, featuring BBD chips, with 2 toggle- switches, one to select between chorus and vibrato modes, and another to switch to a “wetter” effect.

Ripple

Smooth, sweet and transparent 2-stage phaser pedal.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Pedal

Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own.

Pedals

Pedals are compact effects units placed between a guitar and an amplifier to shape, enhance, or transform your sound. They cover everything from drive and distortion to modulation, delay, reverb, and dynamics, allowing players to build a personalised tone and respond creatively to different musical styles and playing situations.

Phaser

Phaser is a modulation effect that creates a smooth, swirling sound by splitting the signal and shifting the phase of one path before mixing it back with the original. As the phase shift is modulated, it produces moving peaks and dips in the frequency response, giving the effect its characteristic sweep.

It is commonly used to add movement and texture to guitars, keyboards, and other instruments, ranging from subtle and warm to deep and psychedelic. Phaser effects are strongly associated with classic funk, rock, and 1970s tones, but remain widely used in modern music for their fluid, musical character.

Vibrato

Vibrato is an effect that creates a subtle or pronounced pitch variation by modulating the signal up and down over time. Unlike chorus or tremolo, vibrato affects pitch only, producing a wavering or shimmering sound without changing volume.

It is used to add movement, expression, and a sense of warmth to a sound, working especially well on sustained notes and chords. Vibrato can range from gentle and musical to bold and psychedelic, and is commonly found in vintage amplifiers, modulation pedals, and classic studio effects.
