Helix Modelling Technology

The Helix set the world ablaze upon release and went from strength to strength with the release of the Floor, LT and HX FX versions. The HX Stomp looks set to take it to the next level, borrowing crucial effects and features of the cornerstone Helix models and sticking them in their most compact unit yet.

The HX Stomp uses the exact same HX Modelling technology as the flagship Helix guitar processor. When you consider that it’s approximately 80% smaller, that’s quite an impressive feat. Run up to 6 processing blocks simultaneously, with over 300 effects and models to choose from. This includes the Helix, M-Series and legacy Line 6 collections.

Versatile & Fool proof

It’s designed to be used in a number of ways. Given its size, it’ll fit neatly onto any pedalboard – a feature-packed multi-FX unit. Combine it with other modelling or FX units to reach new tonal heights. Or go all-in and use it as an all-encompassing guitar or bass rig – yes, it can handle it!

With stereo inputs and outputs, USB connectivity and expression pedal compatibility, the HX Stomp has the capacity to become the centrepiece of your setup. You’ve also got an industry-leading 123dB of dynamic range for ultimate depth and responsiveness – it’ll handle any gig or session you throw at it.

To top it off, it’s super easy to use. Its straightforward interface combines clearly-labelled knobs, buttons, LED-lit footswitches and a 320 x 240 colour LCD screen. All in all, the HX Stomp is going to change the way you see your rig!

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Amp — An amp is an amplifier used to boost the signal from a guitar and shape its overall tone and volume. It plays a major role in how a guitar sounds, influencing everything from clean clarity to natural overdrive and distortion, and is a core part of any guitar setup for both practice and live performance.. FX — FX, or effects, are guitar pedals and processors used to shape, enhance, or completely transform your sound. They can add anything from subtle colour and warmth to dramatic textures, ambience, and movement, allowing players to craft a tone that suits their style, genre, and playing approach. Whether used individually or chained together, FX pedals give control over dynamics, distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, and more. From simple analogue designs to advanced digital units, effects are a core part of modern guitar setups, helping players create distinctive and expressive sounds.. Modelling. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
