Featuring the familiar Cutlass shape, the HT is loaded with custom Music Man pickup technology that delivers a dynamic and responsive playing experience. These pickups have been crafted to give you an ultra-high output, with a powerful low-end response, all whilst retaining a distinctively clean clarity in tone.
Heat Treated Pickups
All three single-coil pickups have been designed to tonally complement each other across all 5 switch positions, with the added benefit of a push/pull 20dB boost function for even more power and sonic clarity. With an overwound bridge pickup and plain enamel, magnets provide a strong and powerful tone. The middle pickup has been underwound with a heavy formvar magnet that produces an exceptional traditional voice, whilst the neck pickup features a large neodymium magnet for remarkable definition. To top it all off, the Cutlass HT uses Music Man’s patented silent circuit to prevent any annoying buzz, retaining its natural tone.
