5 Modulation Pedals

The Stereo Chorus (ST.CH) is NUX’s digital recreation of the MXR stereo chorus. It emulates the glorious sound of the classic pedal without the need for bass and treble knobs by internally setting them to a middle position to give you the most balanced tone.  NUX have also included Core-Image sound modelling to automatically fix the need for a bass filter.

The CE-1 is a faithful iteration of the BOSS CE-1, known for being the first chorus pedal introduced to the world back in the ‘70s. This effect setting is perfect to achieve those exciting and interesting jazz tones that reflect your individuality in sound.

The SCF is NUX’s take on the famous TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger. Everyone loves a flanger, such as the renowned Eric Johnson who has frequently used the original pedal in his rig. The SCF mode includes three settings, SCF CHO, SCF FLG, SCF P.M.

NUXs U-VIBE is a replication of the Dunlop Uni-Vibe that will give you an exceptionally unique sound. If you are wanting the experimental tones of a late ‘60s stage, this pedal effect will simulate a rotating speaker that will make those high bends and beefy riffs mesmerising. The U-Vibe has two settings, U-Vibe CHO to change the depth of the rotating effect, and U-Vibe VIB that will change the degree in pitch modulation.

The PH-100 gives the tonal range to create a magnitude of tones by intensifying the sound you produce. This effect is NUX’s version of the MXR Phase-100 that allows you to change the rate and depth of the frequency passing through the stompbox.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Core. Deluxe. MKII. Multi-FX. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
