The SE Custom 24 takes the legendary PRS double-cut design and makes it more accessible than ever. Drenched in a gorgeous Charcoal Cherry Burst gloss finish and topped with a Flamed Maple veneer, this guitar is a head-turner with tone to match.

With a 24-fret, Wide Thin Maple neck, this beauty feels fast, fluid and seriously addictive under your fingers. Pair that with a set of 85/15 “S” humbuckers, a 3-way blade switch and a push/pull coil split, and you’ve got a tonal Swiss Army knife ready for any genre!

85/15 “S” pickups

These alnico-powered humbuckers deliver a full-spectrum sound with shimmering highs, tight lows and a balanced mid-range. And if you want to dial things back? Just pull up on the tone control to activate the coil tap. This will split the humbuckers for glassy, articulate single-coil sounds. When used in conjunction with the 3-way selector switch, you’ve got up to six different pickup combinations to play with.

PRS quality, player-friendly price

PRS guitars are renowned for their craftsmanship, playability and tone. The SE Series brings that same DNA to a more affordable platform, so you can experience PRS magic at an affordable price.

Key Features

  • Mahogany body, Maple neck: This classic tonewood pairing gives you the best of both worlds: the warmth and resonance of Mahogany combined with the brightness of Maple.
  • Wide Thin neck profile: PRS’s most popular carve for modern players. It’s slim enough for lightning-fast runs but still has enough substance for comfortable chord work.
  • 85/15 “S” humbuckers: Provide vintage-style warmth with a modern twist — tight lows, clear highs and a sweet mid-range that cuts through the mix. Ready for everything from crunchy rock riffs to smooth jazz lines.
  • 3-way toggle pickup switch: Flick to the bridge for punchy aggression, the neck for creamy leads or the middle position for a blend that’s pure tonal gold.
  • Push/pull tone knob (coil tap): Want single-coil sparkle without switching guitars? Pull up the tone knob and unlock bright, snappy tones ideal for funk, pop and clean passages.
  • PRS patented tremolo: One of the designs that helped put PRS on the map back in the ‘80s! It offers buttery-smooth vibrato action, solid tuning stability and excellent sustain.
  • Included PRS SE gig bag: Ideal for home storage or taking this stunning axe to rehearsals and gigs.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
