The Radial Guitar Pedals always come out on top. This is New is in stock and ready to post out to you, with fast, reliable delivery straight to your door. For more New Guitar Pedals options, read on for full specifications, demos, and secure online ordering.

This active ABY switcher and buffer enables you to connect any two amps and drive them simultaneously without the threat of excess noise, loss of gain, and without degrading your natural guitar tone that you’ve been working so hard at mastering!

The highly acclaimed buffering technology and the same Drag Control load correction circuitry as used in the award-winning Radial JD7 Injector can also be found inside the Radial Bones Twin City Buffered ABY Pedal. The ‘set and forget’ Drag Control allows you to compensate for any cable signal loss and introduce the perfect amount of loading to replicate the way your guitar and amp naturally interact.

To eliminate any buzz or hum you may experience from ground loops, the Radial Bones Twin City Buffered ABY Pedal comes equipped with an isolation transformer on output B. Augmented with a ground lift switch and 180° polarity reverse switch, it ensures both amplifiers play in phase, while noise is reduced to an absolute minimum even when using older vintage amps that can be more prone to excess noise. When the Twin-City ABY is used as a buffer, the footswitch lowers the impedance, making it the ideal signal driver for bigger stages where long cable runs are more common.

It will be no surprise that this pedal is a tough cookie, being constructed from heavy 14 gauge steel for greater durability and resilience in transport and when anchored on a busy stage. The Twin-City footswitch includes Radial’s own EIS—Electronic Impulse Switching to provide outstanding performance added durability without the challenges of mechanical switches, while the bright, easy-to-see LEDs deliver on-stage switching cues so you know exactly where you are at all times.

Here’s what Radial say about the Radial Bones Twin City Buffered ABY Pedal

The Twin-City is an active ABY switcher and buffer that enables you to connect any two amps and drive them simultaneously without noise, loss of gain and without degrading your natural guitar tone. This is accomplished with Radial’s highly acclaimed buffering technology and the same Drag Control (TM) load correction circuitry as used in the award-winning Radial JD7 Injector. The ‘set and’ forget Drag Control lets you compensate for cable signal loss and introduce the perfect amount of loading to replicate the way your guitar and amp interact.

To eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops, the Twin-City is equipped with an isolation transformer on output B. This is augmented with a ground lift switch and 180º polarity reverse switch that ensures both amplifiers play in phase while noise is reduced to an absolute minimum even when using older vintage amps that are generally more prone to noise. As a buffer, the Twin-City lowers the impedance and susceptibility to noise, making it the ideal signal driver for large stages when using long cable runs.

Like all Radial products, the Bones are constructed from heavy 14 gauge steel for greater durability and added ‘stay put’ when kicked around on a busy stage. For even greater durability, the Twin-City employs our latest EIS – Electronic Impulse Switching – for unmatched performance without the challenges posed by mechanical switches. Bright, easy to see LEDs deliver on-stage switching cues so you know exactly where you are at all times.

As most players employ pedalboards, the Twin-City features standard ‘Boss style’ 9V powering that will adapt to most multi-pedal power supplies. The ultra compact design with top mounted output and DC connections allow pedals to be placed close together for those wishing maximum pedalboard density.

The Twin-City is a powerful ABY switcher that delivers all of the natural tone, punch and clarity of a true-bypass device without the popping noise of mechanical switches or the induced hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

City. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own.. Twin.
