The BL800 is an amplifier overdrive pedal using tube technology, selected high-voltage components, dynamics through high-voltage technology and an uncompromising analogue signal path. The BL 800 delivers a clearly defined, tight sound with lots of attack.
In addition, there is a playing dynamic reaction to the potentiometer of the guitar that only good tube amplifiers can achieve. The gain reserves surpass the good old JCM800, especially when you switch on the boost. Without activated boost, the BL 800 is an exact sound copy of the JCM 800 with a little more gain, with activated boost there is a decent extra boost of gain.
Controls
Gain, bass, middle, treble, volume, plus a gain boost. Five controls are enough to perfectly match the BL800 to an amplifier. This is achieved by an active 3-band tone control that covers all sound nuances. The boost adds another kick of gain without changing the actual sound of the BL 800.
