The Schecter Omen Elite-7 in an ultra modern, multi-scale 7 string guitar designed with heavy rock and metal players in mind. Representing exceptional value-for-money, this Mahogany-bodied tone machine really dishes the dirt with its high-output Diamond Heretic pickups and cutting-edge looks. The 25.5"-27" multi-scale neck yields less tension on the higher strings, making string bends far easier on the fingers. It also means a higher tension on the lower strings which allows for a clearer, tighter sound, making it ideal for heavy palm muted metal riffs.

The Maple neck is reinforced with Carbon Fibre rods making it incredibly stable and resistant to climatic changes. A Hipshot Multi Scale bridge ensures optimal intonation and tuning as well as maximising the transference of string vibrations. At the other end, a set of Schecter tuners with Grip Tip speed knobs maintains accurate tuning stability even with heavier string gauges.

Key Features

  • Schecter Diamond Heretic Pickups – Optimised for searing high-gain, delivering gnarly, articulate tones regardless of how low the guitar is tuned!
  • Multi-Scale Neck – Improves the overall sound and playability of the guitar by making the top strings slinkier and the bottom strings tighter.
  • Mahogany/Poplar Burl Body – Delivers a balanced sound with a healthy mid range presence as well as giving the Omen a devilishly good looking appearance!
  • Thin C Neck Profile – An ergonomic and comfortable profile up and down the neck.
  • Jumbo Frets – Allow for big string bends without fretting out.

Stuff About 7-String Guitar

A 7-string guitar expands the range of a standard guitar by adding a lower string, opening up deeper tunings and a wider tonal palette. It’s popular with players who want tight, defined low-end without sacrificing access to higher notes, making it well suited to metal, progressive, jazz, and experimental styles. The extra string allows for heavier riffs, extended chord voicings, and more fluid transitions between rhythm and lead playing. Despite the added range, a well-designed 7-string guitar should still feel balanced and playable, encouraging creativity rather than getting in the way of your technique.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.
