Get a real taste of the ‘60s with the Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster. A true homage to the early days of iconic Fender guitars. Those of you after vintage tone and looks will love what this Jazzmaster has to offer.

Unlike the originals, the Classic Vibe range is equipped with modern hardware and custom electronics, making this the perfect instrument to see you through your guitar journey.

Body and Neck

A four-screw bolt-on neck connects the Poplar body and Maple neck – a relatively lightweight yet sturdy combination. You’ll feel right at home on the C-shaped neck profile with an easy playing 9.5” radius. Extremely comfortable for the fretting hand and great for chords.

The Indian Laurel fingerboard evokes true classic vibes and feels smooth underneath the tall and narrow frets. These are a real throwback to mid-twentieth century guitars, unlike most modern variants equipped with jumbo frets.

Sound

Jazzmasters usually favour soapbar pickups, and the Classic Vibe is no different. The Fender-designed sing coils produce an old-school growl great for rock, indie or blues. The neck pickup is fat yet has plenty of bite and sounds excellent for clean rhythm. While the bridge pickup provides a more aggressive tone.

Hardware

The Jazzmaster utilises a classic floating bridge system for strong bends or smooth tremolo effects. You can get truly creative with your playing. It also features a 1960s inspired large headstock, nickel-plated hardware and a tinted gloss neck finish to get you in the swinging sixties mood.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitar Dept

This includes electric, acoustic and bass guitars, along with strings, picks, straps, cables, cases and maintenance essentials. Knowing the differences between guitar types, scale length, pickups, hardware and build quality helps players choose gear that suits their playing style, comfort and musical needs.

The Important stuff

60s. Classic. Jazzmaster — The Fender Jazzmaster was designed in the late 1950s for jazz players but quickly found fame in surf, alternative, and indie rock. Its offset body offers great comfort when seated, while the unique floating tremolo and wide single-coil pickups create warm, chimey tones with plenty of character. The rhythm and lead circuit switching opens up a world of tonal options. Loved by players who like to stand out — from surf pioneers to shoegaze icons — the Jazzmaster is all about individuality and feel.. Sunburst — Sunburst refers to a classic guitar finish that fades from a darker edge to a lighter centre, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood beneath. It’s one of the most recognisable and timeless looks in guitar design, adding depth, warmth, and vintage character to any instrument. Available in styles like two-tone, three-tone, and cherry sunburst, each variation brings its own personality and flair. Whether on an acoustic or electric guitar, a sunburst finish captures that perfect blend of tradition and style, making every instrument look as good as it sounds.. VIBE.
