Crafted as part of a limited run of premium GS Mini models, the GS Mini-e Koa looks great and sounds amazing. The back and sides made of exotic veneered Hawaiian koa, and Taylor’s stage-ready ES-B acoustic electronics, including onboard ES tone and volume control knobs give you great tone and fantastic live sound. The compact Mini’s scaled-down design blends ultra-portability with the voice and projection of a full-size guitar, while Taylor’s patented NT neck guarantees signature Taylor playability.

GS Mini

The Taylor GS Mini is a shrunk down version of the incredible Grand Symphony body shape that quickly became a favorite of artists all around the world. From strummers to finger pickers the Grand Symphony was one of the guitars to have thanks to its versatile tonal range, stunning dynamic definition and strong projection that means you will always be head. This shrunk down version looks to keep all of these traits but at a much smaller size meaning you will never have to go anywhere without your precious acoustic again. Due to the body being a lot smaller that the normal Grand Symphony it may not have the punch or the power but it still has the same incredible versatile tone.

Layered Koa Wood

Like Taylor’s other layered wood options, layered koa features an all-wood laminated construction, in this case with interior and exterior layers of beautifully-figured koa veneer separated by a middle core layer of poplar. Though the tonal properties of layered wood aren’t as complex as solid wood, the construction method enables us to conserve tonewood resources and offer attractive, durable instruments at a more inviting price. A Koa top and Taylor craftsmanship ensure a clear, balanced tonal response.

Taylor Quality

If you have ever played a Taylor guitar you will immediately know what we mean when we talk about the quality of the guitar. Every part of this guitar has been perfectly designed so that you get the best guitar for the cost possible. Add in Taylors tour worthy build quality and reliability and you have an unbeatable gigging guitar that will not tear your bank account to shreds.

ES-B Pickup System

The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor’s Expression System 2 (ES2) piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, along with Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use. The ES-B conserves battery life using a standard on/off system that will automatically turn off if left on over 3 minutes. A low battery indicator on the LED display (located on the preamp circuit board) will display an “L” when the battery reaches 4.5 volts.

The Important stuff

Acoustic Guitars — Acoustic guitars are timeless instruments known for their natural tone, warmth, and versatility. Using a hollow wooden body to amplify the sound of vibrating strings, they produce a rich and resonant voice that suits everything from gentle fingerpicking to lively strumming. Favoured by singer-songwriters, folk musicians, and performers across countless genres, acoustic guitars are valued for their simplicity and expressiveness. Available in various body shapes such as dreadnought, concert, and parlour, each offers a unique tonal character and feel. Whether played around a campfire or on stage, acoustic guitars continue to connect people through their pure, organic sound.. Electro-Acoustic — An electro-acoustic guitar is an acoustic guitar fitted with built-in electronics, allowing it to be plugged into an amplifier or PA system without losing its natural tone. It’s ideal for live performance, recording, or busking, as it captures the warmth and resonance of an acoustic while offering the volume and control of an electric. Most feature piezo pickups or internal microphones, often paired with onboard EQ controls for tone shaping. Electro-acoustics come in a wide range of body shapes and wood types, giving players the same feel and character as a traditional acoustic with added versatility and convenience.. GS. Mini-e.
