The WA-C1 Chorus Vibrato is a faithful recreation of the most celebrated all-analog chorus in guitar pedal history with additional no-compromise features for exploring legendary modulated tones. WA-C1 starts with a premium, all-analog preamp known for being a favorite of guitar players who demand ultra-responsiveness. The lush chorus setting features separated depth and rate controls to expand beyond the limitations of vintage units while delivering true-to-original tone. The vibrato section is preserved as authentic to the original pedals, and an added hi-z switch on the back of the pedal allows players to compensate for higher impedance of guitars vs. keyboards to add clarity to the high end on guitars if desired.

Key Features

  • No Emulation, Pure Analog Preamp – The WA-C1 has a 100% analog preamp, matched to the renowned original, with level control that adds bite, depth, and even some natural compression to guitar tones. The entire pedal circuit is supported internally with a charge-pump voltage regulator to deliver robust power even when using an external 9V power supply. The preamp tone adds color and tone even in bypass mode.
  • Selectable Impedance For Multiple Sources – WA-C1 has selectable impedance on the back panel to select between the vintage input impedance of 50k ohm and a 1.1M Hi-Z setting better suited for passive string instruments to bring out clarity. This switch works in bypass mode to maintain clarity in bypass mode.
  • Hand-Tested In Austin, TX – Like all Warm Audio gear, the WA-C1 is meticulously hand-tested and inspected by trained technicians with a passion for making music in Austin, TX USA.

The Definitive Original Chorus Stompbox

The WA-C1 faithfully recreates the most celebrated all-analog chorus and vibrato pedal known for pure analog tones and rich modulation. The WA-C1 combines a faithful circuit design with separate controls for depth and rate on the chorus side and added hi-z selection for a no-compromise 100% analog chorus experience. WA-C1 has a single input with both mono and stereo output operation.

Deep, Lush Chorus

The WA-C1 delivers lush midrange depth and detail associated with proper Bucket Brigade Device analog chorus pedals. Leveraging a modern MN3007 BBD chip recreation by Xvive with other premium components and boutique build quality, WA-C1 is carefully clocked to match the depth and rate of the original pedal to reproduce the detail expected from the most sought after vintage pieces.

Rich, Three-Dimensional Vibrato

When it’s really time to wobble, engage the vibrato setting on Warm Chorus Vibrato for added speed and bounce to your tone. Experimenting with the vibrato side yields rotary-like modulation tones perfect for funk, fusion, blues, jazz and more. WA-C1 adds a flashing LED for effect monitoring on the face showing which setting is engaged along with the rate of the modulation.

Separate Depth & Rate Controls For Chorus

WA-C1 has separate depth and rate controls vs. the vintage “intensity” control. On vintage units, “intensity” increased both depth and rate simultaneously, with the WA-C1, you can go beyond the limitations of vintage pedals by dialing in more depth and slower rates for even richer chorus tones.
