The Cock Fight Plus from Electro-Harmonix brings award-winning tone and adds a whole new level of expression.

This unique pedal has three main features that can be combined to form your own distint tones. Its hugely popular wah tone offers a wealth of tonal sweet spots that'll work in whatever style you choose to play. From ripping classic rock solos to funk-style popping lines and everything in between!

It also has a built-in format filter, better known as a 'talk' effect. This offers vowel-like sounds made famous by talk-box users of old – this effect will transform the way you use your wah!

The third feature is a crispy fuzz circuit that can be added before or after the filter effects. Add heaps of sizzle to your solos or opt for a blubbering dying-battery sound – the choice is yours!

Here's What Electro-Harmonix Have To Say about the Cock Fight Plus:

The EHX Cock Fight Plus offers up the award-winning tone of the original Cock Fight in a rugged, lightweight pedal and with a traditional rack and pinion style operating mechanism. It contains two different expressive filters: a traditional wah pedal filter and a formant filter used for vowel sounds. The Cock Fight also features a lively fuzz section that can be added before or after the filter section, or taken out of the signal path completely.

  • Great wah and talking pedal sounds
  • Like getting three pedals in one: crying wah + talking wah plus a classic fuzz

  • 9Volt battery included, also works with optional EHX 9.6DC200mA power supply
  • Dimensions in inches: 9.92 (l) x 3.4 (w) x 3.0 (h)

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Wah

Wah pedals are all about expression. By rocking the foot pedal back and forth, you sweep through frequencies to create that classic vocal-like “wah-wah” sound. From funk to rock solos, the wah adds movement, personality, and attitude to your tone. Think Hendrix, Clapton, or Slash — each used a wah to make their guitar sing. Whether you prefer a classic Cry Baby or a modern auto-wah, this effect remains one of the most recognisable sounds in guitar history.
