  • Hand-selected woods – From the hand-finished quartersawn Sitka Spruce bracing to the beautiful Indian Rosewood back & sides, every piece of wood on this guitar has been picked from thousands of samples in Alvarez’s factory.
  • Single-level bridge – Channelling the Laureate series’ traditional design style, the single-level Ebony bridge is a classic-style Black Ebony bridge that helps extract a bright, sweet tone from the soundboard.
  • LR Baggs HiFi – This non-invasive pickup pairs dual bridge plate sensors with high-fidelity electronics, with a peel-and-stick installation and built-in studio-quality preamp to boot. Your acoustic tone, from string to body, preserved and amplified perfectly.

Better sound, enhanced playability, gorgeous aesthetics; Alvarez’s Laureate Series is a convergence of traditional-style acoustic design, supreme build quality, and premium tonewoods, delivering a truly exquisite acoustic guitar experience. For every Laureate guitar, the Alvarez designers hand-select bridge plates, bracing, kerfing, and tops for optimal resonance, structure, and appearance. In a break from much of Alvarez’s range, they’ve opted for a single-level Black Ebony bridge and hand-sanded bracing, for refined resonance and harmonic detail – and adding to that traditional look.
