Bass is part of the Laney DNA. Founded in 1967 by Lyndon Laney, a bass player, the business was born with a bass in its hand. The Digbeth range is a celebration of this fact. Designed with a vintage aesthetic, harking back to the looks and sounds of the 60’s & 70’s, the Digbeth takes vintage tone and looks, and combines it with ultra-modern functionality and British design and engineering.

The Digbeth DB500H celebrates our heritage in bass. Packed with vintage appeal and ultra-modern functionality the DB500H gives the modern bass player a range of Fet and Tube tones not previously available in a compact, powerful and portable bass amp.

Nathan East Joins the Laney Amps Family!

Laney Amps are delighted to announce Nathan East has officially joined our Artist family. Nathan is currently on tour with Eric Clapton, using our Digbeth DB500H bass amp and DBV212-4 cabinet.

Arguably the most recorded bass player in the History of Music, with over 2,000 recordings to his name. Nathan East has carved out an incredible genre spanning career in Jazz, R&B and Rock. Recording, performing and co-writing songs with artists such as Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, Herbie Hancock, Joe Satriani to name a mere handful.
