At its heart, the P7 New Gen combines a North American alder body with the Marcus Super-PJ Revolution pickup set and Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, giving you a huge range of tones from vintage thump to articulate modern punch. Stainless steel frets, lightweight tuners and Lumiinlay position markers round out a specification that is focused on feel, reliability and real musical performance.
New Gen Neck for Effortless Playability
The updated New Gen C-shape neck is designed to feel instantly comfortable, whether you are coming from a traditional Precision or a more modern jazz-style bass. On the Tidepool model you get a roasted hard maple neck and roasted hard maple fingerboard with Sire’s Edgeless rolled fretboard edges, so there are no sharp edges to distract from your playing.
