This gadget from Planet waves keeps a track of humidity and temperature inside your guitar case. Why’s that important to do? Well temperature and humidity can (over time) cause the wood to contract or expand ever so slightly which can lead to changes in action. It affects electric guitars and basses to a certain extent but it becomes vital if you’ve got a solid top acoustic guitar because those minor changes can dramatically affect the guitars construction. Use the Planet Waves Humidity and Temperature Sensor to accurately measure and assess and learn where to (and not to) store your instrument in the long term and avoid any short term spikes in changes. Better still team it up with a Planet Waves Humidipak to measure and correct the humidity and keep it at the optimum level.
The unit includes a programmable set point as well as a memory feature that indicates the date and time of the highest and lowest temperature and humidity levels to which the instrument has been exposed.
