The Gibson 1960 Hummingbird Heritage Cherry Sunburst is a Dreadnought from the brand Gibson Custom Shop that gives plenty, a solid weapon in any arsenal. The Gibson 1960 Hummingbird is a vintage-inspired acoustic that captures the spirit of its legendary origins. With its square-shoulder dreadnought shape thermally aged Sitka spruce top and mahogany body it delivers a warm balanced tone that sounds wide open straight out of the case. The hand-rubbed VOS nitro finish gives it the look and feel of a well-loved classic while traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing ensures dynamic response and rich projection. A rounded mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl parallelograms offer smooth playability and elegant vintage style. Premium bone components at the nut saddle and bridge pins enhance tonal clarity and sustain while Gotoh Keystone tuners provide stable precise tuning. Finished with a detailed casted Hummingbird pickguard and housed in a period-correct case this reissue is a timeless nod to one of Gibsons most iconic acoustics.
