The iconic J-45 has been Gibson Acoustics’ best-selling guitar every year since its introduction in 1942. Nicknamed “The Workhorse”, this guitar has become the cornerstone of the round-shoulder, dreadnaught acoustics.

This version in particular has a Rosewood back and sides that deliver the exquisite tonal quality you would expect from a J-45, but in this instance, the Rosewood gives a slightly fuller bass response and overtone complexity.
