The HeadRush Flex Prime features a highly functional looping feature—perfect for layering textures and melodies during a live show or as a potent songwriting tool, ready to go whenever inspiration strikes. Loops can be up to 5 minutes long with a capacity of 20 minutes of layered audio. When you’re finished and ready to share your sonic masterpiece with the world, you can save your loops as .WAV files and export them to your Mac/PC. You can also import .WAV files to use the looper to play along with your favorite backing tracks and easily sync the looper to external MIDI devices like drum machines.
Built-in USB Audio Interface for Recording and Reamping
Flex Prime’s USB connection opens up a world of recording and reamping directly to a computer. When connected, you can use the HeadRush Flex Prime as a 24-bit 96 kHz audio interface. The reamp function works by sending audio from your DAW through the Flex Prime and then recording it back into your DAW. This allows you to easily add nuance and tonal qualities only attainable with a hardware amplifier into their recordings. Any veteran studio professional will agree that this method saves valuable time and the HeadRush Flex Prime makes it easier than ever.
All The Connections You Need
The HeadRush Flex Prime can integrate seamlessly into your current rig with a series of inputs to suit any and all of your performance needs. The rear panel of the unit is packed with inputs and outputs, including a 1/4” input for guitars, (2) 1/4″ TRS outputs switchable between amp or line level, a 1/8” (3.5mm) headphones output, a 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo aux input, and 1/8” (3.5mm) MIDI input and output connections. The Flex Prime also features a 1/4” stereo FX loop to integrate external FX pedals at any point in your signal chain. This also allows for advanced integration with a traditional amplifier via the four-cable method. The USB-B port allows computer connection for firmware updates, audio interface functionality, and importing/exporting files directly to/from your HeadRush Flex Prime.
