The Ironheart foundry series has taken the sheer power and dynamism of our Ironheart tube amps and smelted and forged their characteristics to deliver monstrous power and incredible versatility in an ultra-compact form.

The Leadtop is a 60 Watt single channel amp with clean and lead mode with a boost! It is ideal for practice due to its size and weight, weighing at only 3.67kg. Select what voicing you want with the selectable Bright, Natural & Dark switch.

Key Features

  • Versatility – Comes equipped with an Effects Loop for your pedals, a Cabinet Emulated Headphone Output, and High & Low Power Modes (Low Power <1W> making the Leadtop able to adapt to many different needs!)
  • Switchable Pre-Boost, with Level – Cut through the mix instantly with an added boost and push the amp to deliver even greater Laney tone.
  • 3 Band Passive EQ Tone Stack – A three-band EQ circuit features separate knobs for treble, bass and mids, and the circuitry is almost always active. Three-band EQs inherently offer greater flexibility to players who want to create a very specific sound.

Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

Head

A head is an amplifier unit that contains the preamp and power amp but does not include a built-in speaker. It is designed to be used with an external speaker cabinet, allowing players to choose different cabinet and speaker combinations to shape their sound.

Amp heads are popular with guitar and bass players who want flexibility and scalability, as the same head can be paired with different cabinets for home, studio, or live use. They are commonly available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, and range from compact low-watt models to powerful stage-ready amplifiers.
