Description

The Orange OR15 Valve Head is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for GBP 529 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Orange and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

The OR15H amplifier from Orange celebrates the sounds which originally defined the Orange company way back in 1972. This amp is based upon a 50w single-channel head with a very similar blues/rock crunchy sound. The “pics only” nickname comes from the styling of the front panel – true to the original amps that the OR15H is based upon, the panel features no text only images which describe the controls’ functions.

Introduced more recently, this 15w version of the original 50w head satisfies the demand for this kind of classic, vintage Orange tube tone in an amp with less wattage and a lower price. It’s ideal for guitarists who want the vintage Orange 70s sound in a compact package that will still sing at rehearsal and jamming volumes.

Here’s what Orange say about the OR15H Amplifier

In 1972 Orange launched an amp that defined their sound. It was dubbed the ‘Pics Only’ due to the absence of any text, instead using pictures only on the face plate of the amp.

The OR15H owes more than a nod to this vintage legend; from the method of its construction, the blues and rock tone, even the cosmetics. The new OR15H offers an alternative specification to the original 50w head for those looking for a 15-watt Class A guitar amp, still delivering the vintage Orange tone and for the first time offering the Pics only styling in a smaller package.
