Walrus Audio is proud to offer the Xero Polylooper, a true bypass, dual-channel stereo looper that fully explores the creative possibilities of multiple loop channels, providing a rich and unique feature set for how multiple loops can interact. With two fully independent loop channels, playback speed and direction control, and three flexible loop modes, the Xero Polylooper is a performance-ready tool that pushes looping into new dimensions. Built with Walrus Audio’s acclaimed design ethos and powered by the advanced and proprietary MDSP Module, the Xero makes complex looping intuitive, visual, and inspiring.

Key Features

  • Dual-channel stereo looper with full separation.
  • Independent volume, pan, speed, and reverse per loop
  • Three loop modes: Sync, Unsynced, Polyrhythmic.
  • Up to 3 minutes of loop time with unlimited overdubs and near infinite stacking.

Three Loop Modes

The Xero features three different modes to experience all new ways of creating, building, and interacting with loops:

  • SYNCED MODE – Locks both channels to the same length and time base, but allows for independent level, effects, and playback control. This mode is great for classic looper functionality with convenient channel strip style controls for separate looped elements.
  • UNSYNCED MODE – Allows both channels to operate with fully independent time bases, allowing loops to organically drift in and out of sync with one another. Great for creating unpredictably shifting ambient pads, perfect for anyone using pedals for ambient sound design.
  • POLYRHYTHMIC MODE – Allows the user to record loops of different lengths that share a common time base, meaning they will stay rhythmically synced in time. This allows the user to record a 3 beat pattern against a 4 beat pattern (or any other polyrhythmic division), a short phrase against a long phrase, or a long phrase against a short phrase. In this mode, the recorded loop lengths will automatically quantize to a multiple of the shared time division relative to the first recorded “base” loop.

    Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

    The Important stuff

loop. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
